Me & the process of learning Yoga!!

It’s been ages since I saw early mornings and a beautiful start of a fresh day!! But for the past 5 days, am getting to witness the beautiful dawns. I wake up sharp 4:50AM for my yoga classes, which starts at 5:15AM.

I was planning to start practicing Yoga for quiet sometime now & finally I found a right @doorstep yoga classes. She reaches my doorstep sharp 5.10 for a class at 5.15. 1st day I was all enthu about this whole thing. May be I was li’l sure that soon I’ll get a figure as that of Shilpa Shetty ;-)

Day 1: Me, my sis & two of my cousin sister’s started with the class.. We started with warm up thingy with the help of my Yoga Trainer. It was cool as we 4 gals were having fun learning it together. A while later I started to feel pain in every nerve of mine!! I was like “oh my god”!! I was gasping so heavy juz with 15mins of warm up stuffs & I decided “this is not for me”, But something kept me going for the entire 1hour, though I’d decided to give up my yoga classes in the very 1st 10mins. I was sweating and gasping. After the session, even a hot shower dint help me feel any better.. I reached office like a zombie on a Monday morning & was tired thru out the day. But decided to proceed with the classes even the next day, as I still wanted to feel good about myself.

Day 2: Due to stretches and strains that I had the previous day, my body was undergoing a worst painful phase to get used to this new activity. Had worst of pain in my ankle, thighs, hips, arms etc. I was absolutely worn out to start the 2nd day class. But still had no choice as I was told that I had to follow the routine to reduce the pain. Warm up went on faster & then started the breathing exercises later to which she gave squat movements and it was so painful. I was completely drained by the end of the 2nd class & my legs were aching and shivering so bad that I was not even able to walk. :-( Pain was so difficult to handle the entire day that I was utterly lifeless at work to the extent that my colleagues started to notice me being unexciting.

Day 3: Pain was worse even before I could start with session.. But still I decided to continue with ths.. I think I kinda liked the activity I gave my body early in the morning. My body listened to everything I was told to do.. Stretches and pulls were easier to do.. I was feeling gud about myself and was quiet proud as well that am learning YOGA :-)

Day 4: By now I was used to stretches & I was out of any pain :-) I was too thrilled with what I was doing.

Day 5: I started to practice long days.. Yeah my days used to start at 8 in the morning and end at 10 in the night But after having started to take up yoga classes, my day starts at 5 in the morn and ends at 10 in the night. My days are longer by 3hours, leaving me refreshed and relaxed thru out the day.!!

Now after my 1st set of classes.. I have decided to make Yoga as a Lifestyle!!

I'm Lovin' It!! :-)
